The restored 1934 Art Deco landmark building by one of the most eminent of Filipino public architects will soon become the National Museum’s satellite office for the Western Visayas (Region VI).

This rehabilitation project paves the way for the enhanced provision of the NM’s frontline educational, scientific, cultural and regulatory services to our clients and stakeholders in the six provinces of this highly heritage-rich region.

The building, formerly a PNP precinct, was actually donated to the NM by the City Government for these purposes.
