“Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will be arriving on August 11 for an assessment of the status of traffic in Iloilo City.

They will stay here for two weeks to draft a traffic plan for Iloilo City. This scheme they will make could solve both road and public safety concerns.

We want to have the best traffic management in Western Visayas. This is part of our goal to be one of the three most highly livable cities in the Philippines.

Let’s have a better traffic management and more secured public safety!”

  1. That’s great news. Heavy traffic is partly a consequence of a city’s progress but could also slow down its growth if not properly manage. Great to know the city gov’t is being proactive.
