Iloilo City was hailed most improved metropolis in the country during the 6th Regional Competitiveness Summit at Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City Aug. 16.

Iloilo City won First Place Most Improved Local Government Unit (LGU) Highly Urbanized City in the Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) Awards 2018.
